15 Years Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Matured for 15 years, this is our most balanced and smooth single malt. Balancing two different sides of the flavour spectrum, this single malt marries these perfectly, whilst also reflecting our coastal home and its unwavering influence.
On one hand, this is an intense single malt, yet at the same time, it is truly balanced.
Spice and sweetness unite in this naturally rich amber whisky to celebrate rich flavours, yet lighter, more refreshing coastal notes show another side of this single malt.

Meticulous Cask Selection
Spice and sweetness unite in this naturally rich whisky while lighter, more refreshing coastal notes show another side of this single malt. Second fill American oak ex-bourbon casks impart deep, dark spices before a period of further maturation in first fill Spanish oak casks which lend to notes of dried fruit and chocolate. Old Pulteney casks breath the invigorating sea air year after year, giving our whisky an unmistakable coastal character.
The Smugglers Kettle
Our unusually shaped pot stills, with particularly large boiling balls, make for a more fragrant whisky and character – and inspired our distinctive bottle shape. Our use of worm tub condensers, an increasingly rare practice, adds body and depth to our whisky.
This intense yet balanced single malt perfectly marries two different sides of the flavour spectrum while also reflecting our coastal home and its unwavering influence. The unique combination of brisk sea air and meticulous cask selection creates a distinctive flavour which sets Old Pulteney apart from other single malt Scotch whiskies and reaffirms why Old Pulteney truly is The Maritime Malt.
Intense yet balanced. Bursting with rich dried fruit, ripe apples and citrus, with honey sweetness and a generous chord of creamy vanilla. Slightly chocolaty and floral in the background.
Fragrant spices and Christmas cake, with layers of chocolate and a distinct dark toffee sweetness. There is a hint of salty sea air on the finish, a clear connection to the influence of the sea on this single malt.
