Place has always been at the heart of our story. When Old Pulteney was founded in 1826, our distillery stood beside Wick’s bustling harbour. Two centuries later, we’re incredibly proud to remain part of the community that has grown around us and played such an important role in our story.
To mark this milestone, we welcomed 90 guests to celebrate alongside us, bringing together our Distillery and Brand Home teams, local businesses and partners, and representatives from the wider community.
Hosted by BAFTA-nominated The Hebridean Baker, the evening featured a three-course dinner from local Wick hotel The Norseman, followed by a special toast and tasting of our 200th Anniversary expression.

The celebrations also gave us the opportunity to recognise some remarkable people through our Depth of Character Awards, honouring members of the community who generously give their time to support local food banks and community initiatives.
Guests also helped raise an incredible £750 for the RNLI through a sold-out raffle, before the evening came to a close in true Scottish style with a traditional ceilidh.

It was a joyful celebration of 200 years of Old Pulteney, our home in Wick, and the people who have been part of our story along the way. Here’s to the next chapter.
