The Seven Seas Hot Toddy

50ml Old Pulteney 12 Year Old
25ml Amaro Averna (or a herbal liqueur of your choice)
100ml Lapsang tea
1tsp Tasmanian Leatherwood honey (different honey will work too)
Fresh ginger
Star anise to garnish

Brew the Lapsang tea for 1 minute along with three thin slices of fresh ginger. Strain the tea leaves and the ginger off, add the honey, the amaro and the whisky and stir well. Garnish with star anise and serve immediately.
