We’re proud to announce that chef Aiden Byrne has officially joined the Old Pulteney crew!

Aiden, who is Chef Patron at Manchester House and chef/owner of The Church Green British Grill in Lymm, has been a friend of our maritime malt for some time and most recently created a series of Old Pulteney whisky food pairings which were enjoyed at Liverpool Food and Drink Festival 2015.

It is now with great pleasure that we can confirm our continued partnership with Aiden as he takes on an ambassadorial role for our multi-award-winning Scotch whisky.  The collaboration is a first for Aiden and will see him create even more luxurious food pairings and inspired menus to serve with each of our award-winning Old Pulteney expressions – all of which influenced by our single malt whisky’s distinctive flavour and faint hint of the sea.

Aiden began 2016 with a visit to Pulteney Distillery in Wick where he learnt first-hand about the traditional craft of making single malt whisky from our distillery team and enjoying a personal masterclass with Old Pulteney Senior Brand Manager, Margaret Mary Clarke.

A busy programme of food festivals, tasting events and ambassador activity now lies ahead for the rest of the year, and we look forward enormously to bringing you a fresh take to our maritime malt courtesy of Aiden’s inspired Old Pulteney food pairings.
