Old Pulteney arrives in Singapore

Scotland’s very own Old Pulteney has arrived on Singapore’s shores aboard our very own Clipper Round the World Race yacht…

After a long and arduous journey, Scotland’s very own Old Pulteney has arrived on Singapore’s shores aboard the Old Pulteney yacht in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. 

The latest Race in the series from Brisbane to Singapore was sponsored by our Limited Edition Whisky ‘Old Pulteney Navigator’ . As one of the most testing races of the series we were delighted to take the opportunity to pay tribute to the skillful individuals who navigated this tough seafaring challenge. On Sunday (16th Feb 2014) at ONE˚15 Marina Henri Lloyd, GREAT Britain and OneDLL were all called up on stage by Race Director Justin Taylor to receive their respective first, second and third place winners pennants and also special Clipper Race designed commemorative plates at the Navigator Cup prize giving event.

Importantly the completion of The Navigator Cup and the Old Pulteney yacht’s arrival also marks the advent of the Old Pulteney whisky collection in Singapore. Our collection includes the award winning 12 year old, the 17 year old, the 2012 World Whisky of the Year – the 21 year old, Navigator and the very highly sought after 40 year old.
