WK217 Spectrum
This is the third and final expression of our extremely well-received series of single malts related to extraordinary boats from Wick. The inspiration for this one came from WK217 ‘Spectrum’, built in 1920 and one of the first Wick drifters to use a pioneering way of fishing called Anchor Seine Netting. She was also used during World War II for harbour service duties.
APPEARANCE: Dark copper with bronze highlights.
AROMA: Full-bodied, sweet and spicy malt, with traces of vanilla, green apples and raisins.
TASTE: Initial sweet hints of citrus fruits and sherry lead to a complex and well-balanced long lasting finish.
