A BAFTA and Emmy award-winning Blue Planet cameraman, Doug Allan’s incredible life story is the result of a lifetime in partnership with the sea.
Starting from the moment he tried on his first pair of diving goggles – Doug was entranced by the sea and his remarkable story has been shaped by the rewards it can bring. In turn, he advocates for the ripple effect in behaviour changes around both climate change and single use plastics, in a bid to protect our seas.
Doug debuts our latest film series, Rise With The Tide, following a visit to Old Pulteney’s coastal hometown of Wick to swap stories on our respective relationships with the sea. From capturing the extraordinary lives of marine animals on film for UK’s most successful wildlife documentary series, to the creation of The Maritime Malt.
Latest Addition to Our Travel Retail Range
We have announced that we are expanding our global travel retail portfolio with the launch of an exclusive new expression: Old Pulteney 13 Years Old. The new expression will be unveiled at the forthcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition this May on the International Beverage stand 2-H9.
Old Pulteney single malt Scotch whisky is handcrafted on the northerly-most shores of Wick in the Scottish Highlands. Being distilled and matured by the sea creates a distinctive flavour which sets Old Pulteney apart from other Scotch whiskies, capturing the taste of the sea in every drop. Its unmistakable coastal character makes it the perfect addition to a range of culinary delicacies.
