Flotilla 2004 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Old Pulteney Flotilla 2004 is matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Over the years, the casks gently absorb the northern sea breeze, giving the whisky its smooth, complex flavours and coastal characteristics.  It is little wonder that Old Pulteney is known as ‘The Maritime Malt’.

Note:  FLOTILLA  n. 1) a small fleet. 2) a fleet of boats or small ships. [Spanish, diminutive of flota ‘fleet’, related to Old French flote ‘multitude’].

APPEARANCE: Sandy beach.

AROMA: Vanilla sweetness and zestiness of green apples followed by hints of orange peel and the signature maritime note.

TASTE: Notes of Oriental spices are underpinned by toffee and coconut with a burst of lemons underneath. The finish is long and smooth, kissed by the sea air.
